OSRAM Semiconductor Facility Monitoring & Control System

Enthu Tech has commissioned the Facility Monitoring and Control System for one of the biggest Opto Semiconductor factories located in Kulim Hi-Tech Park. Generally, the system consistently gathers data close to 600 nos of devices on site, such as Power Quality Meter (PQM) and Digital Power Meter (DPM) to obtain the electrical parameters as real time reading, trending, alarming, reporting, and data exchanging in OPC. It is a hybrid of a powerful SCADA system namely CitectSCADA and a power Power Monitoring System namely PME from Schneider. The system architecture belongs to redundancy type whereby the secondary server will immediately take over if the primary server is shut down/offline intentionally or unintentionally. Ultimately, when the primary server reinstates, the data will be automatically backfilled from the secondary standby server.
